Raven Supernatural
Ghost stories, folklore and haunted places of Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and Wales.
About Raven Supernatural
Some stories refuse to stay buried.
Every old place has one. The gateway where a lady in white was seen, and the rings on her hand counted. The castle where a town woke in the night and listened. The inn where guests climb the stairs slowly, and keep a hand on the wall.
Raven Supernatural goes looking for these stories in Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and Wales. We find them in parish histories and old newspapers, in the memories of people who grew up with them, and sometimes carved into the landscape itself. Then we tell them again, in the places they belong.
That means two things. Evenings in historic buildings, beginning with Christmas Ghost Stories at Llanthony Secunda Priory this December, where Tony Walker reads three tales by candlelight. And a growing collection of the legends themselves, retold here as they were handed down, each with a note on where it comes from, so you can decide for yourself what to believe.
We don’t promise you’ll see anything. We only promise the stories are old, and that somebody, once, swore they were true.
